What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?
The most important thing that I carry with me all the time is a handbag 👜 that I always carry my house keys, my purse 👛 and my mobile 📱 phone. I always have these things whenever I leave my home. The phone 📱 is important to have in case of emergency, and I never leave my purse or mobile 📱 just lying around wherever. Even when I walk Lily, I have these things with me.
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
This is a great question to answer. I would like my blog to make the world 🌎 a more positive optimistic place where compassion and empathy are really the norm and really valued.
Optimism is something that I would like my readers to feel and hope my blog puts a smile on the mouth of those who read 📚 it. I hope that by modelling empathy and compassion that I make the world 🌎 🙏🏽 a more compassionate and empathic place. I hope to make mental health issues better understood and that those like myself who experience mental health issues be treated with more empathy and compassion and much less stigma. I guess I hope my little blog finds an audience for its optimistic voice.
I know I have answered a similar question before. Life in an alternative universe would be different, as there would be no violence of any kind. There would be no murder, rape or domestic violence of any kind. No cruelty to children or animals. People would be kind to one another and would share their abundance with others in the world. There would be no hunger or famine and no greed.
This type of universe is really what my latest book I am in the process of writing ✍️ is all about. The main protagonist is Susanna, my beautiful, passed over angel 😇 lady and is about her experiences as an angel in heaven and on 🌎 earth, so an alternative universe is something that has been on my mind lately.
What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
The most expensive meal I ever had was steak at the Hard Rock Cafe in Melbourne for my birthday around 20 years ago. I think it was about $30 Australian. I had been to the casino for a friends birthday a few nights before and won about $400 on the pokies and this win meant that I was able to shout the meals that my nephews and nieces had at the Hard Rock Cafe. My nephews and nieces were on school holidays at the time. So yes, it was worth it both for my own pleasure, but also to bring 🙏🏽 to my nephews and nieces.
There is a routine in my morning of two things that bring me joy.
The first is the daily 🌄 morning gif that I send to all my loved ones. This is a tradition that I have started in honour of Susanna, who only ever spread ❤️ love and goodwill in this world 🌎. When Susanna was alive and battling cancer every morning 🌄 I would send her a message showing her how much she was loved and that she was always in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽. I know Susanna loved that greeting 🙏🏽 and it gave her the strength to battle cancer, knowing she was loved and prayed 🙏🏽 for. So when Susanna passed, I began the tradition of sending all my loved ones a gif every morning 🌄.
The other tradition that brings me joy is that every morning when Lily first gets up, I lie on the couch, and Lily lies on my chest, and I cuddle her and tell her that I love her. Lily responds by being very affectionate 💋 and cuddles into me like she is a baby. Even as I write this post, she is right beside me touching me and is very happy and contented. Even as I send the daily gif, she is right by my side, the ever faithful companion. She is a gift from God, and I know God shows that Lily is loved by him, too. I have a lot to be grateful for.
The thing that I am most curious about is the existence of angels and spirituality in general. I truly do believe in angels. I have sensed their presence gently guiding me, and there has just been too much happen in my life that could not be a coincidence.
There are angels in the bible, and I sense that God sometimes sends angels down to earth in human form to walk amongst us and do Gods work 🙏🏽 here on earth.
I sense that animals can be angels too and that they have their own special angels that watch over them. Sometimes I sense these angels around Lily and Lily definitely is an angelic presence in my life.
I also intrigued and fascinated by angels 😇 God and heaven thst I have started to write book about it, a fantasy with my beloved angel 😇 lady Susanna as the protagonist, as an angelic presence both in heaven and here on earth. It is a book that is a pleasure 🙏🏽 to write ✍️.
How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?
I would describe myself as a petite woman who is five feet tall with bobbed blonde hair with blue eyes and glasses. I am middle-aged and often get told that I look younger than my age. My favourite colours are green, purple and pink. I am Australian.
Yes, today for me is a typical Monday here in Melbourne on a winter 🌄 morning. I have just taken Lily for a good walk. It had rained 🌧 overnight, so the ground was moist, but the air was fresh and crisp. It is actually a beautiful 🌄 morning. Rain is predicted later today, but in typical Melbourne fashion, we will experience four seasons in one day. Lily is blissfully contented after her walk, and I feel energised to start the day.
I hope the westher remains good enough to take Lily for her weekly play date with Becky at Liz’s home 🏡. It is the highlight of Lily’s week, and it means that we both enjoy Monday. So yes, it is a typical Monday.
I would describe myself as a young at heart middle aged lady with blonde hair and blue eyes whom her friends say is a positive force to be reckoned with. I have a strong faith and an empathic, compassionate soul. I choose to see life through a glass half full perspective.
