My opening sentencehttps://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7527509

You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?

The first line of my autobiography entitled   “Now We’re Getting Somewhere” would be “I must be doing something right to have led the life that I have had , with the people who have shared my life with me”.

What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

  1. Lily . Obviously, Lily is something I can’t live without. She brings me love by the truckload and a reason to get up and get moving every day.

The experiences in life that helped me grow the mosthttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/onboarding

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

There have been a few experiences in life that have helped me grow the most.

The most significant event that helped me grow the most was my choice to move out of home 🏡 as a young adult because it helped to shape me as  independent young woman and taught me the financial side of being independent  ie budgeting to pay my rent, food and bills as my priority.  My advice to any young person would be to do this as it teaches you the harsh realities of life .

The other event in my life that helped me to grow the most was the onset of my mental health issues   I was a bit naive about life up to that point,  but developing mental health issues taught me alot. I have experienced stigma because of my illness, but never from true friends. I have experienced a lack of compassion and empathy from people who are ignorant.   I learned a lot about my particular illness and then studied welfare studies to use what I had been through to help others in similar circumstances.  It gave me a career that spanned 16 years, and I helped a lot of people all whilst experiencing the same stigma that my clients did. I was able to help them in ways that I personally struggled with, eventually I left my career because I was extremely burnt out and decided to focus on my other skills eg writing ✍️ skills that led to this blog.   I am now at peace with my life, and writing fulfils me in a way nothing else can.

Fate/ Destinyhttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/onboarding

Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Yes, I do believe in fate or destiny. I think everything in our lives happens for a reason. There is always a lesson to be learned,  part of a greater plan for our lives. Everyone we encounter in our lives comes into our lives for a reason. Some stay only for a season, and some come into our lives forever more. Everything in our lives happens in Gods time. As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens whilst we are busy making other plans.”  I do believe that, and I definitely believe in fate.

Saying Goodbye to Susannahttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/privacymessaging

Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

Probably the most difficult phase in my life that was difficult to say goodbye to was losing Susanna to the ravages of cancer. She was my closest friend of an angelic presence on this earth 🌎 and losing her was the most difficult thing I ever had to go through.  She had been my sister in every way that mattered, and good things have come out of the grieving experience,  notably my friendship with Kathryn andRebekah. .  Grief is a part of life and something that becomes more common as we age.  In time the grief becomes easier to live with. We never forget the memories of shared experiences ❤️.

SHERREEhttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/privacymessaging

Sherree is someone who has become very important to me.  What started out as a professional caring relationship has grown to mean a great deal to me.  Sherree is an NDIS support worker who takes me to do my weekly grocery shopping, and she also takes me to my various appointments.  She is of a similar age to me, and we both went to the same school and had Mr Guppy as a teacher. Sherree is very down to earth 🌎,  very straightforward, and we share the same sense of humour.  She is honest and caring, and I am truly blessed 🙌 she has come into my life.  I look forward to my weekly shop, and I look forward to the times she takes me to my appointments. We have become close friends and have the most beneficial therapeutic relationship.  She is a remarkably good soul and is perfect for the job she does

Racism and Racist

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

If there were words I wish didn’t need to exist  rather than just be banned it would be racism and racist because I wish there ws no such thing as racism and racist people. I wish everyone in the world 🌎 was treated equally and not discriminated against based on race.  I thought I lived in a country that was not racisthttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/privacymessaging but recent events have opened my eyes to the racist side of Australia 🇦🇺.   I don’t like the way some people speak of the indigenous Australians and those immigrants who, for different reasons, choose to make Australia 🇦🇺 their home. I was shocked to discover some anti Jewish graffiti on a local park bench because I innocently believed I lived in a part of Melbourne that was not racist. I believe we are all equal in the eyes of God and that God would be appalled by man’s inhumanity to fellow man. It sickens me that we live in a judgemental racist world 🌎 where people are segregated by race or religion.  I really wish the words racism and racist did not exist that we all love our fellow humans equally and that life on earth is what it is to be like in heaven. Imagine.

My biggest challenge in the next six months.https://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/privacymessaging

What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

My biggest challenge in the next six months is to prepare myself for when I move house. I still have a lot more decluttering and downsizing to do. Staying motivated to do so and maintaining good mental health is my priority, and I juggle lots of balls in the air, sometimes better than other times. I’ve got to make myself spiral upwards and not let myself fall into a downward spiral. As you can see, it is a big challenge,  but I am optimistic.  Everything will happen in Gods time.

LILY IS A GRATEFUL SOULhttps://www.google.com/adsense/new/u/0/pub-3691500166505297/privacymessaging

I’m sitting on the couch at the moment, and Lily is lying beside me.  She is happy and contented because we had an early morning 🌄 walk, and she had just eaten her breakfast and had a huge drink of fresh water from her bowl.  As soon as she finished her breakfast, she came to lie on my lap, and she showered me with kisses 💋 on my face and cuddled into me, loving being cuddled and held.   It is her way of showing me her love and her Gratefulness for the everyday things I provide her with. It doesn’t take a lot for a dog to be happy. Giving them food and walkies makes their day, and they will give you truckloads of love ❤️ for the most basic of gestures of caring for them.  We humans could learn a lot from dogs, about what makes us happy.  We should learn to take pleasure in the small acts of kindness and spread goodwill in return. Think of how happy your dog is when you give them a treat and spread the love like they do. I have learned so much from Lily, and to see her happy makes me feel ecstatic for her. She truly is a loving, contented, peaceful soul who is genuinely happy with her lot in life. I am blessed to be her human.
