Lady in the waiting room

Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.

There was,an encounter recently with a,stranger that had a positive impact on me . I was waiting to see my doctor  my gp and struck up a conversation with a lady in the waiting room . We are chatting about different things,  just filling in the time. I must have mentioned that I have been to both university and tafe in my past . We were also talking about music 🎶 and discovered that we both liked Midnight Oil.  At one stage this lady paid me a big compliment which touched me.  She said that she could tell by the way i spoke that I was obviously very well educated and intelligent. Hearing this from a stranger touched me and I found myself to be sitting up straighter and walking a little more taller.  It was a wonderful compliment to receive and I will probably always remember it.
