SANTA PAWS

When I read back over my last post I realised something was missing. I had forgot to mention the other creatures whom are naturally both grateful and gracious. Our pets, our loved companions.

As I sit and write ✍ this piece, my darling dog Lily is by my side, which is where she spends the majority of her time. I treasure her all year round, and love ❤ being able to spoil her on her birthday and at Christmas time. I tell her regularly that because she is a good girl, that Santa will be coming to her. I have already started to buy little things for her for Christmas. She will receive a couple of new toys and some treats.

Lily loves Christmas. She may not know the Christmas story, but like a small child, she enjoys receiving presents. Last year when a friend visited on Boxing day Lily brought out all her new toys and treats to show my friend. It was like Lily was overcome with the oleasure of receiving and was saying to my friend Look What I Got.

On her birthday Lily also gets 🎁 gifts and this year again was overcome with joy to receive treats. She may have no concept what a birthday is, but somehow she knew it was all about her. I managed to make Lily’s birthday last for about a week. She is very 😍 loved and very spoiled.

Our pets are naturally 🙏 grateful. They can happily eat the same thing everyday, enjoy eating it and always are happy to receive their daily treats. They are deliriously happy when we pick up their lead to take them for a walk and enjoy the adventure of meeting people and other dogs.

The innocent joy they show at being given presents 🎁 show they are naturally gracious. They don’t care how big or how expensive the present is, they are just overjoyed to receive it

So please at 🎄 Christmas remember our little gifts from God and enjoy making them delighted at the magic of the season. They give us so very much and ask for so very little ❤

For our companions big or little make Santa real for them and give to them wholeheartedly 🙏.

  1. That is so cute. Lily is a very lucky little girl and this post shows everyone how much she is loved. It would be lovely if All dogs had a loving home like Lily. 😀💕

  2. Hi Kaye
How true it is that our beautiful furry friends mean the world to us.
Santa is not visiting me, but he is visiting my 2 cats fluffy and jasper. My rabbit Mabel and my 4 chicken, Henny Penny, Jenny and Fred. 😂😂😂😂😂.
They are so beautiful and give us so much joy.
