Meeting Lily.

Describe one of your favorite moments.

The absolute favourite time in my life was the day that Lily first came into my life. My good friend Russell had taken me to visit the breeder near Lancefield here in Victoria and I was excited because the breeder had told me that she had a brown and white female 🐢 puppy and I was so looking forward to it

What totally took me by surprise was how quickly I fell in love with Lily. The instant I locked πŸ‘€ eyes on her playing in the play pen with the rest of the litter I felt absolutely mesmerised by her beautiful eyes and intrinsically hoped she was the one the breeder wanted me to see. I have never fell in love so instantly before and was delighted she was the puppy for me. I recall holding her in my arms and her little face looking up at me, looking straight into my eyes. She seemed to be wondering if I was her human, the one sent to look after her. I feel totally absolutely in wonderous love with this divine little creature that God created. I recall it being one of the moments that I knew that God exists because he created creatures like Lily for us to love and care for. So yes meeting Lily was one of the most defining moments of my life.

Feeling blessed.

What notable things happened today?

Today’s blog subject has made me examine how my day has been so far. It began as any other day. I rose early and took Lily for a walk in the morning πŸŒ„ sunshine. It is winter here in Melbourne, and it is a particularly lovely day. It was fresh and still and the morning πŸŒ„ sunshine is glorious. Something to feel thankful πŸ™ for.

I have had a particularly good day so far. A friend texted me to compliment me on my blog, which did a lot of good for my sense of self worth. My audience has been increasing recently and I love regularly writing a blog.

I had a good time doing my weekly shop at ALDI. I look forward to my weekly shop, I love having company whilst doing my weekly shop, and enjoy very much the company of those support workers who assist me with my shopping. It is such a blessing and it is fun to shop at ALDI.

Today’s blog topic has helped me to be thankful πŸ™ for the little interactions πŸ™ that make up my day. As I write ✍️ this Lily is lying next to me, and as always she makes my day. Having her love is something that is so wonderful. I thank God for the little things in my life that make my life all the more pleasurable and fulfilling. Every day something notable happens if only we are receptive to notice such. Every day is a 🎁 gift.

My loved ones and fighting the stigma of mental illness and writing.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about showing love and positivity to my loves one’s. Susanna taught me well and because of her loving influence onJ my life, I model her and send a daily greeting πŸ™ of love and goodwill to my loved ones.

The other thing I am passionate about is to educate people about the reality of mental health issues to bring about more empathy and compassion to those who experience mental health issues and to reduce the stigma surrounding such issues. I know I had a very successful career in mental health and helped many on their journey of life.

The other thing I am passionate about is my writing ✍️. I get so much pleasure from writing ✍️ and plan to continue with my blog and also to write more books. God bless our πŸ• dogs was a pleasure to write. Watch this space as I compile a hook about Susanna My Angel Lady πŸ˜‡ β™₯️ πŸ’– ✨️.

Late Spring

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

My favourite season here in Melbourne has to be late Spring. I love this time of year as the weather gets warmer and we can wear one layer of a tshirt or blouse and feel the warmth from the sun on our skin. Lots of flowers bloom at this time, and gardens look their loveliest. I like daylight savings and the longer days, as you can do more in the late afternoon and evening. We are really blessed here in Australia with our seasons and I feel I come alive in Spring after the hibernation of winter. So yes, late Spring is my favourite season.

Time for writing and my loved ones.

What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

The one luxury I have that I can’t live without, is having time on my hands to dedicate to the pursuits in my life that bring me the most happiness. These pursuits are, time to write ✍️ and time to dedicate to my loved ones. I love writing ✍️ as the greatest pleasure in my life, and writing regularly helps to improve my writing ✍️.

I make tine everyday to send a greeting to my loved ones, friends and family. I do this to honour my friend Susanna, who lived to spread love and goodwill to all on this 🌎 earth. So yes the luxury I can’t live without is time.

LILY’S MUM AND DO GOOD IN THE WORLD πŸŒŽ.

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

To begin with I don’t believe that we should have taglines as I don’t believe in having tickets on myself, nor am I that self absorbed.

Really had to think about today’s topic and I think my tagline would be Lily’s Mum or something along the lines of above all else do no harm, try to do the good or right thing. These are just musings as again I don’t think we necessarily need a tagline.

Wealth In Terms of Relationships

What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

I believe that one of the most important things to lead a good life, is to be wealthy in terms of the relationships we have. By this I don’t mean, that we need to have a lot of money, but I do mean, that we need to be “a good friend ” in our life and by doing so, we will attract good people into our lives.

There is a saying about life to be healthy, wealthy and wise. Yes looking after our health adds to our happiness and helps bring about longevity. Wealthy doesn’t mean we need to be rich. It does mean to live within your means and to share what we have. If all the 🌎 world would learn to share there would be no poverty. Being wealthy doesn’t mean being selfish or greedy. Sharing our abundance would make the 🌎 world a more happier, fulfilled place. Being wealthy doesn’t mean being rich, but it does mean to live within our means. A simple life, where nothing is wasted, helps our wealth to grow it is the way of the universe. We reap what we sow. Learn to live a simple life, appreciating the little things, and your wealth will grow. Goodwill brings about Goodwill. Be a good person and you will attract good people to you. Like attracts like in this world.

To be wise appreciate what you have and don’t rush to make decisions or acquire things in this life. Learn to save for what you want. Delayed gratification brings about pleasure πŸ™. Don’t rush and get everything on credit. Lots of debt equates to lots of stress and ruin in our lives. Selfish people who when they see what they want and have to have it “yesterday ” never are happy, because they haven’t learned the lessons of the universe and have been unwise.

The truly happy are those, who appreciate what they have, don’t rush into anything and attract good people into their life. Don’t rush, be careful and grateful for what you have and the universe will reward you with goodwill.

My dog, My family and friends.

Who do you spend the most time with?

I spend the most amount of time with my dog πŸ• Lily. I then spend a good amount of time with my Mum and my neighbour Liz, and occasionally see one of my brothers.

The people I wish I could spend more time with are my closest friends Adrian, Russell, Lani, Helen and Kathryn. We regularly text one another, and talk on the phone πŸ“± but time is precious and we lead such busy lives, that to see one another only happens infrequently.

JESSICA HARRISON

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

If I had to change my name, and I had a choice I would rather fancy being Jessica Harrison. I have always loved that name. Jessica Harrison was the name of the female lead that Sigrid Thornton played in The Man From Snowy River. She was a beautiful, headstrong and independent character and Sigrid portrayed her beautifully. I think a lot of Australian women of my generation loved that movie and were envious of Sigrid. This was the movie which launched Sigrid Thornton on the Amercian market and I know it was this character that made Steven Spielberg say that Sigrid had the most interesting face he had ever seen on screen. I really love Sigrid and have followed her career with interest, but Jessica Harrison remains my favourite character of hers.
