Today the world comes together to think about God and Jesus as it is Good Friday. To me it is a day of quiet, sombre reflection as we contemplate the life of Jesus and his fate on the cross. It always makes me feel humble and grateful 🙏🏽 for the fact that he lived. I am saddened that he was crucified and on Sunday I will rejoice that he rose from the dead.
Easter is one of my favourite times of year because of the significance it holds for me.
This year is particularly important for me because I finally heard of the progress of my application to live at The Haven. I no longer feel like it is Groundhog Day, things are progressing at an alarming rate. I feel grateful, blessed and optimistic about my future, making it a nice Easter 🐣 surprise for me.
Think about Jesus this Easter and be grateful 🙏🏽 for all we have.
