Where did your name come from?

My name is Kaye and I was the first girl to be born into my father’s family in 40 years. I am the youngest of 4 with 3 older brothers.

Initially I was going to be called Kaylene, but my father was adamant that he didn’t want me to be called a name that could be shortened. My father also insisted that my name be spelt Kaye, not Kay because he thought that Kaye looked more professional and finished. So Kaye I am.
