I am told by a lot of my friends that I am a positive empowering person. This type of feedback from my loved one’s helps me on my journey. About 27 years ago I was diagnosed with a mental illness that rocked my world to its very core and led me on a journey of personal growth and self discovery. I decided that I wanted to be a good person, with good people in my life. I knew that to make good friends you needed to be a good friend to the people who come into your life. I am now blessed that I have some friends who are truly wonderful people. I regularly pinch myself and don’t take the presence of such people in my life for granted. Life is all about the journey and not the destination and am blessed that I have good people to share the journey with me. My advice to anyone looking to make good friends is to firstly be good to the people around you. God will help. Karma exists and we reap what we sow.. Give out good and good will return to you. I know it. I live it.

Beautiful work Kaye…it is indeed important for us all to be kind and compassionate to whoever crosses our path.We cannot ever know what some people may be battling or going through.Kindness costs nothing more than one minute of your time…but that one minute of kindness can make a whole world of difference to someone doing it tough.
